Untill June 27, ROAM on the Zernike Campus is hosting “Synchronicity: Between Pulses,” a work by Gyanu Lewe, a graduating Bachelor of Design student at Academie Minerva. This presentation offers a preview of his work ahead of the upcoming Graduation Show.
Gyanu created an interactive light installation in which your presence influences what you see. The installation consists of a large, handmade steel form with thousands of LED lights. Using sensors, the work responds to how close visitors get and to their heart rate. As a result, the light patterns change as you move through or past the work.
With Synchronicity: Between Pulses, Gyanu explores how people relate to one another in a world that often feels fast-paced, busy, and fragmented. What happens when you slow down for a moment? Can separate rhythms come together? And how does it feel to connect with others without words?
You’re welcome to experience it during the New Energy Forum on June 18 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Location: ROAM, Zernike Campus (Zernikelaan 17)
