The annual Campus Trail is being organised again! On Friday 11 September 2026, you can take part in this unique 4-mile fun run through buildings on the Zernike Campus. This year promises to be another fantastic route, with music along the way and a unique experience!

The route takes participants past inspiring locations on campus where people are working every day to shape the world of tomorrow. Whether you’re running, walking or simply pausing to admire the impressive buildings, innovations and facilities along the way, the Campus Trail offers an energetic experience full of surprises.

Want to join with a company team? Contact amber@campusgroningen.nl . A company team consists of;

  • 8 starting numbers;

  • Start together;

  • Company visible along the course;

  • Mention in the event (online);

  • A unique medal at the finish;

  • A warm-up with music;

  • Water and fruit along the route;

  • 2 drinks per person for the social gathering.

Partnership and organisation

The Campus Trail is an initiative of Campus Groningen in partnership with the WEST Business Association, Lode Holding, ACLO, the Sports Centre (University of Groningen / Hanze University) and Kadans. The practical organisation of the event is handled by Paul van Put Events.
